LONG BEACH, Calif.—Dedric Gage of Ciplex.com finished in Vince Carter-like fashion to win the Summer Pro League Dunk Contest, Sunday.

LONG BEACH, Calif.— With 8.6 seconds left in regulation the free agent team Pepsi Pros (4-2) felt comfortable with a 98-93 lead over defending back-to-back champions Play2Win Delta Jammers (6-0).

Day Seven Doesn't Disappoint As Playoffs Near

LONG BEACH, Calif.- With playoffs just around the corner, the stakes were raised at day seven of the Summer Pro League, and basketball’s most promising up-and-comers did not disappoint.

The first pro game of the day pitted Jamba Juice (2-3) against the struggling Ciplex.com (1-4) team, in what proved to be a standout game for Ciplex.com. The players shot 71% in the first quarter, led by Gemmel Stoute in scoring, with numerous assists by David Pak. When combined with Dedric Gage’s explosive efforts and the sharp shooting of Keith Davis, Jamba Juice was no match for Ciplex.com. The valiant 4th quarter comeback by Jamba Juice, led by Torey Thomas, was unable to match the unremitting scoring of Ciplex.com, securing the team its first win of the league in a 108-90 victory...

Play2Win, Horizon Sports Remain Undefeated Through Day Four of the SPL

LONG BEACH, Calif. - The fourth day of the Summer Pro League presented by Nike was loaded with great basketball performances, but despite a ten-game schedule, one star managed to shine above the rest. Viewers of the day’s earliest pro game were treated to a spectacular performance by player Albert Myles of the Orange County Players.

The Orange County Players (2-1) took on Horizon Sports (2-0) in a game that remained close throughout. Horizon Sports walked away the victors after defeating OCP 91-87. The story throughout the game was Myles, who finished with 44 of his teams 87 points. Along with his 10-18 field goal shooting, Myles also completed 24 of 27 free throws. Long Beach, Calif. – With a second full day of basketball completed, each of the fifteen teams competing in the 2007 Summer Pro League presented by Nike have had a chance to show their skills in front of hundreds of fans, scouts, friends and family members.
Kicking off the day with a 12:30pm game were the Orange County Players (1-0) and the BTG Express (0-1). The game was a nail biter as the OC Players edged the BTG Express by a score of 87-86. The OC Players’ forward Deon Marcus led his team with 20 points while making 80% of his 3 point shots. The game saw 11 lead changes and 9 ties, before the OC Players pulled out a victory in the final quarter of the game...

Long Beach, Calif. – The first day of the Summer Pro League concluded with L. Smith & Associates (1-0) dominating the Pepsi Pros (0-1) with a final score of 77-56.
